Winnie Chan 陳泳儀
Registered Dietitian
Winnie is a registered dietitian with combined experience working in health education and inpatient clinical settings. She received her MS in Dietetics from Marshall University, and her BS in Clinical Nutrition from the University of California, Davis. After obtaining the Registered Dietitian Certificate from CDR (US), she began working in skilled-nursing facilities to provide individualized nutrition plans of care to help patients manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, weight management (unintentional weight gain and loss), renal diseases with hemodialysis, and improve their quality of life. Winnie is also a college lecturer at HKU SPACE PLK Stanley Ho Community College and a part-time lecturer at the University of Hong Kong, School of Professional and Continuing Education. She delivers nutrition courses and workshops for nutrition programs, as well as nutrition talks for various institutions. She provides individual and family counseling and self-management support to help service users address their nutrition-related health concerns, including but not limited to: - Diabetes / Pre-diabetes - Hypertension - Hyperlipidemia - Heart health - Weight management - Malnutrition for elderly
