Vic Wong Cho Wai is a dedicated healthcare professional with a strong background in occupational therapy and social work. He graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a *Bachelor of Science with Honors in Occupational Therapy, followed by a **Master of Social Science in Social Work* from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Vic is a *Registered Occupational Therapist* in Hong Kong with *more than 15 years of clinical experience, specializing in elderly care, particularly working with individuals affected by **stroke* and *dementia*. Vic has served as the *Senior Occupational Therapist (Elderly Services)* at the *Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, one of Hong Kong’s most prominent social welfare organizations. His extensive experience spans various fields, including **Residential Care Services for the Elderly, **Home Care Services, **Day Care Services, **Vocational Rehabilitation Services, and **Community Rehabilitation Services*. His work in these areas has significantly contributed to improving elderly care and rehabilitation services. In addition to his clinical expertise, Vic is actively involved in the development and application of *gerontechnology, focusing on how technology can enhance the quality of life for elderly individuals. He is also committed to advancing **dementia services* within his organization, ensuring that individuals with cognitive impairments receive the best possible care. Vic is also the *author and planner* of the *dementia picture book "東老太逛街市", which promotes the value and strengths of elderly individuals with dementia. The picture book emphasizes the importance of **ecological dementia training*, encouraging meaningful interactions through daily life scenarios such as visiting markets or medical follow-ups, helping those with dementia maintain life skills and independence. Furthermore, Vic has contributed to the education and training of future occupational therapists. He has served as a *Clinical Educator* for Occupational Therapy students at *Hong Kong Polytechnic University* and *Tung Wah College*, providing guidance and sharing his extensive clinical knowledge with aspiring healthcare professionals. Driven by the belief that every individual deserves to live their life with *dignity* and *independence*, Vic Wong Cho Wai continues to make significant contributions to the field of occupational therapy, particularly in the areas of elderly care, dementia, and the integration of technology into rehabilitation solutions.
