Ms. Joyce Wu graduated in Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy (honours) in 2009. and was employed by the Hospital Authority (HA) in the same year. Her work scope was in adult psychiatry and elderly dementia. Later, She completed the Master of Social Sciences (Counseling) program at the University of Hong Kong in 2014. Ms. Wu has rich clinical experience. In addition to the Hospital Authority, she had worked as an occupational therapist in different organizations, including the Hong Kong Alzheimer's Disease Association . The service targets include people in recovery from mental health, the elderly and their caregivers in the community. In recent years, Ms. Hu has focused on outreaching community care services for the elderly, providing in-depth services to the elderly and their caregivers from different stages of life with different physical and mental needs. Based on the all-round, person-centered and strength-based beliefs of occupational therapy, Ms. Wu coupled with the necessary creative training media for occupational therapists, can help improve the physical and mental health of clients. In addition to therapeutic work, Ms. Wu has specialized in mind-body, soul, and life-and-death education courses in recent years, hoping to learn from them and provide more diversified services to service users. Ms. Wu is a person who has recovered from emotional illness, and is also a caregiver and intergenerational caregiver. Ms. Wu deeply understands the difficulties faced by everyone in every stage, so she hopes to use her own experience and learning to help different people in society.
